Hearth & Token was created by us — Charlie and Nadine — a married duo who have shared a love of board games since the very beginning of our relationship. We’ve been married for six years, but tabletop games have been part of our lives for much longer. From late-night euro games to carefully curated shelves of favorites, board gaming has always been how we connect, unwind, and create.
Hearth & Token exists because we wanted board game upgrades and accessories that felt as thoughtful, beautiful, and intentional as the games themselves.

We are both artists, and every token, sticker, and enamel pin we sell is designed by us. We don’t outsource our ideas or buy generic components. Everything starts at our table, with sketchbooks, prototypes, and games laid out.
Our goal is simple: to create premium board game components that enhance the experience without distracting from it. Upgraded tokens should feel natural in your hands, fit seamlessly on the table, and elevate the visual language of the game.
Charlie
Charlie has loved board games for over 20 years, first discovering the hobby through classics like Catan and Carcassonne. Professionally, he’s a graphic designer and videographer, with experience working for Riot Games and professional sports teams.
His love for euro games heavily influences Hearth & Token’s design catalogue and his current favorite board games include Barcelona, Puerto Rico, and SETI.
At Hearth & Token, Charlie focuses on branding, marketing, layouts, and color finishing, ensuring every board game token and accessory feels cohesive and polished.
Nadine
Nadine is a full-time artist with a background in social strategy, and she brings a deeply thoughtful, player-focused approach to every design. She has worked with Riot Games, Niantic, and popular streamers, blending creativity with a strong understanding of community and interaction.
She is the primary illustrator behind Hearth & Token’s tokens, stickers, and enamel pins, drawing inspiration from gameplay flow, iconography, and the emotional moments games create. Her favorite games include Tapestry, Darwin’s Journey, and deck-building games.
